Farmers Market Metrics Training Materials
The USDA Agricultural Marketing Service’s Farmers Market Promotion Program funded the development of Farmers Market Metrics Training Materials, a series of online modules that will be available to FMC members in 2016. The materials will be used independently by markets and partners to learn how to initiate, design and implement data collection and evaluation at the market.They include an overview of the metric selection process, specific examples of data collection methods, tools and instruction for data entry, and how to analyze and communicate data to market partners and stakeholders. In 2017, the materials will be added to the Farmers Market Metrics data management site and will be used by the FMM pilot projects, with a wider rollout expected later.
