Call for Presentations & Posters for the 2019 Nat’l Direct Ag Summit

SAVE THE DATE: The 2nd annual National Direct Agricultural Marketing Summit will take place from October 7-9, 2019 in Rosemont, Illinois (Chicago-area). FMC will also be hosting pre-Summit activities, including a state association leader meeting, an emerging issues panel, and business development fair with small group and one-on-one consulting for farmers market managers on topics such as organizational planning, accounting, and legal support.

Submit your Proposal by May 17th!

Share a Poster at the Summit! Showcase a project or program to peers from across the country. If your poster proposal is accepted, you’ll submit text and images to the Summit planning team, who will format, print and display your poster at the Summit. Poster authors will be stationed near their posters during occasional networking breaks throughout the Summit, to answer questions about their work, and connect with interested peers. If your poster presentation is accepted, your registration costs will be covered.

Lead a presentation, panel, or workshop at the Summit! Share your expertise or lead a discussion by submitting your presentation proposal. If your proposal is accepted, the Summit planning committee will work with you to refine and complete your presentation plans, and your Summit registration fees will be covered.

Submitting a proposal is quick and easy. You’ll need to provide:

  • The type of proposal (poster or presentation);
  • Title;
  • Track (business development, community impact, innovation and technology, etc.)
  • Description (4-8 sentences); and
  • Contact information.
