The Board of Directors of the Farmers Market Coalition is currently soliciting qualified nominations for upcoming positions on the Board of Directors. This is an excellent opportunity to take a leadership role in a growing nonprofit organization dedicated to strengthening farmers markets.
Directors are FMC member volunteers with demonstrated leadership experience in the field of farmers markets, who support the FMC mission of strengthening farmers markets for the benefit of farmers, consumers, and communities. This year, the Board is seeking leaders with demonstrated skills and interest in state and federal policy work, fundraising, and farmers markets in corporate or hospital environments. Board meetings are conducted via conference call every other month, with at least one face-to-face meeting each year. Board of Directors commit to serve on at least one committee, in keeping with any special skills or interests. Board of Directors commit themselves to furthering the goals of the Farmers Market Coalition, which are as follows:

The Recommendation and Nomination Procedure
