Local Communities Around the Country Proclaim Farmers Market Week

Every year the US Department of Agriculture proclaims National Farmers Market Week the first week of August. Starting a few years ago, FMC started providing a proclamation template for states, counties and cities to proclaim Farmers Market Week in their local areas.
National Farmers Market Week can be a fantastic opportunity for farmers market organizations to engage with their elected officials and the proclamation process can be a great way to get their “foot in the door” and foster relationships.
