Networking

Each market is a unique expression of its local producers and community. However, many of the issues that market managers face are universal. FMC provides a network of support, where ideas and issues are discussed, and best practices shared.

FMC represents 3,500 markets, and maintains an active listserv of more than 1,000 subscribers. The listserv facilitates peer to peer exchange of market management best practices, funding opportunities and regulatory changes. FMC also works closely with state and regional leaders to build the capacity of state farmers market associations.
