Market Start-up and Development

The Moscow Farmers Market Commission conducted a strategic planning process that began in October of 2016. Strategic planning work included coming to agreement in regards to maintaining the current mission and vision statements, as well as, identifying the concerns and issues the Commission feels the Market faces now and into the future, establishing five major challenge areas. Also, a detailed Operational Overview was completed. Supporting objectives, goals, actions/strategies and accompanying annual deliverables were then developed for each of the identified major challenge areas. The Moscow Farmers Market Strategic Plan was adopted by the Moscow Farmers Market Commission on February 8, 2017.
